Simbu’s ‘Maanaadu’ started under the protection of Siddha Doctors

Simbu has joined the sets of ‘Maanaadu’ at Pondicherry on Monday after he had successfully completed his part of ‘Eeswaran’ within the stipulated time.

The new movie of Simbu written and directed by Venkat Prabhu was planned in mid 2018 and along with many additions and deletions the start was delayed due to various reasons including the COVID-19 pandemic. The long expected movie ‘Maanaadu’ is on floors now since Monday as tweeted by Simbu.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music, Richard M Nathan is handling the camera and Praveen K L is editing the movie. Kalyani Priyadarshan, S J Surya, Bharathiraja, S A Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren, Manoj Bharathiraja and Karunakaran are costarring with Simbu.

The movie is produced by Suresh Kamatchi who has done some special arrangements in the shooting spot to prevent the pandemic during filming. The producer has arranged the renowned Siddha Practitioner Veerababu, who is recognized by the Tamil Nadu Government, for protecting the team members against the pandemic.

It is said that the complete team was tested for the virus before the start and are being provided with food and herbal syrup as per the Siddha Doctor’s guidelines.

A novel initiative to be encouraged and appreciated.
