Actress Samantha made her debut in the movie ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ as the second heroine. Then doing the movie ‘Naan Ee’ she earned fame. Also she has won Filmfare Award for Best Actress in ‘Neethane Yen Ponvasantham’. Most of the recent movies of Samantha are hits. Within a short period she has paired up with all lead heroes like Suriya, Vikram, Vijay and she is one of the highest paid heroines in the industry.
As Samantha is on her peaks she has decided do only selective movies in which she has importance. She has said that she is fed up of doing usual heroine roles who appears for songs and here and there in the movie. Also her fans wouldn’t like her to do same type of movies. She wishes to do horror movies with different screenplay which has more importance for the female lead.
Also actress Samantha is running a NGO to help the children and women. And she has planned to conduct a Star event to gather funds for her NGO. Also she has said that, before she made an announcement that she is love and soon she will marry her love. But she has dropped that now.
