‘Lucifer’ is the 2019 released, critically and commercially super hit Malayalam movie, starring Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas. The movie was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor.
The Telugu remake of the movie was announced earlier with Telugu Megastar, Chiranjeevi reprising the role of Mohanlal. And speculations were heard that ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth would direct the remake, but it was declared by the team that Mohan Raja is directing the movie. Mohan raja has given many successful movies and received the Film fare Awards South for the Best Director, for his movie, ‘Thani Oruvan’ released in 2015.
The remake is produced by NV Prasad together with the ‘Konidela Productions’ and the makers have announced on Monday that the project will role from 20th, this month.
Actor Rahman is said to play the vital role played by Vivek Oberoi in the original. Also negotiations are going on for roping in Nayanthara for the role of the politician, played by Manju Warrier. And if Nayan agrees, this would be her second movie with the Megastar Chiranjeevi and the third with director Mohan Raja.
An official announcement on the cast and crew of the movie is expected soon.
