‘Jagame Thandhiram’ is the action thriller starring Dhanush and Aishwarya Lekshmi, written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Composer Santhosh Narayanan, Cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna and Editor Vivek Harshan are the main crew members of the movie produced by S Sasikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra.
The film started rolling in August 2019 and the post production works started in January 2020. After it got interrupted due to the pandemic, the post production works were resumed in May 2020. And to the dismay of the anticipating Dhanush fans, the producers announced in January 2021, that the movie would release on OTT. Dhanush was also upset by this announcement and tweeted in social media, insisting on theatrical release.
Now it is confirmed by the producers that ‘Jagame Thadhiram’ will release on Netflix, on June 18th. And it is confirmed by the director Karthik Subbaraj in his tweet on Tuesday, regarding this. He also says that the movie is his dream project with a gripping story on a globally prevailing issue, told in an entertaining way. Also the movie brings out the enormous talent of Dhanush and will be a treat to the audience.
